More recent additions to "The Fabulous Invictones", such as I, need to pay homage to men like Roy Lefevre who grew the reputation and maintained the fellowship of our singing group.

Dear Ruth and family,
I learned of Roy's passing short days ago.
But I have been unable to find words adequate to express how fortunate I was to have had Roy as my mentor and special friend.
As you may recall, as a result of Roy's suggestion and encouragement, and insistence on many hours of practice, we became a very good duet. Certainly for me, through his mentorship it was and always will be my best time with the Invictones. 
Fortunately too I joined the Invictones while he was still our conductor and driving force of the Scatmen quartet.
For me he was the 'Fab' in the Fabulous Invictones.
Thank you Ruth, for sharing him with me, you and Roy were truly a Fabulous duet.

  This will take you wayyyyyyyy back.  The Montgomery's (from the early 50's to the early 80's, formerly of 3 Benlight Cr.) were very saddened and sorry to read of Roy's passing.
