Roy Streich passed suddenly at the age of 67 on November 2nd, 2024. He was very proud and loved his kids Stephanie & Nicholas Streich, always reminded them of so. Roy was retired and loved to travel, in doing so he taught his kids to live their life to the fullest. His favourite pastime was to play solitaire on his computer after a long day, and he was quite good at it.
Roy will be forever remembered by his kids. The Mother of his children Liz Jakoi. His brother Ralph and his wife Rita, their kids Erika, Celene, Charlie & Christy. Roy had an abundance of love for his family and friends and that legacy will carry on for a lifetime.
In honour of Roy, a Celebration of Life will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home on Saturday November 23rd at 1pm.
Roy’s first job was working at McDonalds, and in retirement he volunteered with the Ronald McDonald House.
If desired, donations may be made out to the Ronald McDonald House Charity or the Durham Humane Society in Roy’s name.
