A Reminiscence

YES, thou art gone! and never more
Thy sunny smile shall gladden me;
But I may pass the old church door,
And pace the floor that covers thee.

May stand upon the cold, damp stone,
And think that, frozen, lies below
The lightest heart that I have known,
The kindest I shall ever know.

Yet, though I cannot see thee more,
'Tis still a comfort to have seen;
And though thy transient life is o'er,
'Tis sweet to think that thou hast been;

To think a soul so near divine,
Within a form so angel fair,
United to a heart like thine,
Has gladdened once our humble sphere.

I spent allot of time by your side last summer as time is all I have. I'm writing this late because its hard to come on here and see your beautiful pics so pls forgive me. Another Christmas gone as I'm sure your spirit is missed by friends & family. This world is not the same without you as I pray for your son and husband from time to time. You will always be in my heart as well as your family! Bless! One love

I can go on for ever telling you about this beautiful woman I once knew but Im sure y'all already know how wonderful she is. Its been one year and Im still having a hard time understanding why she is gone. I am so glad I spoke with her a few years back for a brief moment but it was the best 10 min of my life to hear her voice again. I pray everyday for Lance and her family so that they have the strength to carry on. To Selina's mother I love you very much and thank you for everything. Last but not least, thank you God for all the wonderful memories and Selina if you can hear me...... I Love You!

Selina was and is a miracle. A soul who was not tainted by life's blow. She took them which we all tend to do, absorbed them. But instead of throwing it back into the world as it is, she changed it by the greatness of her love(Jesus's love) and in the end by her faith, to give it back in love, by what she said and did. As time goes by the memory of her does not decrease but increases, as I remember through our life journey as sisters all the details of her love, that I took for granted when she was in body on earth now remembered vividly while she sleeps. I will see you again sis, that I belive.

My memories of Selina is awesome! There was a time in my life when I was lost trying to find my way and there she was an Angel of light who showed me the true meaning of love and how to be a friend. It was then I was able to be strong and conquer all my fears.I also had a chance to know her son Lance who was the most adorable child who made me laugh and smile many times. My life has changed dramatically because of Selina and this I will never forget! I still cant believe that she is gone but I did pray into the skies asking God please help me understand and there it was..a shooting star above. God was telling me she is with him so thank you God and thank you Selina for allowing me to have both of you in my life! My condolences and love to The Asante Family!
