Sonja Griffith

With great sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Sonja Griffith on May 19, 2023. Daughter of Vernese, the late Alvin and her guardian Yvette. Loving mother to Jahvon and daughter-in-law Danniesha. God-mother to Akeimar, Aniesha, Estelle, Estevenos, Karon, Jakyra, Journee and many more. Sister to Trevis, Lisa, Maria, and Stephen. Sonja will be missed by her many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews in Barbados. All Sonja’s family and friends will always love and

remember her.

Sonja loved to live life and make memories with her loved ones. A hardworking and caregiving woman. Sonja loved to travel and never said no to a good book.

Family and friends are welcome to gather at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E., Scarborough, on Friday, May 26, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at Rosewood Church of the Nazarene, 657 Milner Ave., Scarborough on Saturday, May 27, 2023, gathering from 10:00-11:00 a.m. and service beginning at 11:00 a.m.

For those who are unable to attend the service, a livestream will be held and a link will be available below.
