Stanley James Mendyk

July 31, 1953 – July 5, 2017

Died peacefully at Centenary Health Centre in Scarborough. This would have been the 23rd anniversary of his marriage to his beloved Sharon (1994). Beloved father to Jenna and Grandpa to Zoey, Ryan and Lana. He will be dearly missed by his sister Rosemary and her husband Brian with his nephews Terry and Philip and great nephew Gawain. He will also be dearly missed by his brother-in-law Cameron, wife Lori and niece Jenny. Predeceased by his mother Laudis, Babica Rozalia, Dziadzio Anthony and Uncle Ted Mendyk. Lovingly remembered by his cousins Kathy, Steve and Peter and Aunt Donna Mendyk, cousins Harry and Irene, the Dvorak Family, and numerous friends; Bruce and Grace, Helen and John, Pam and John, Gwen, Liz and Roy, Andre’ and Virginia, Velma and George. Visitation will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home 4115 Lawrence Ave. E. Toronto, Tuesday, July 11 from 6-9 pm. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Parish, Highland Creek, 200 Morrish Road, Scarborough on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 11am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to World Vision or the Canadian Red Cross.
