Fred will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Gloria (née Willett); children Chris (Gail and Natalie) and Angela (Tiago); grandchildren Jason, Ryan and Lucas; brother Dieter (Sherene); nephews Derek (Andrea), Andrew (Amanda) and Kirk; and many more family members and friends.
Fred will be remembered as an avid traveler, gardener, golfer, and fisherman, and for his 27 years of service as a police officer with the Metro Toronto Police Service.
All services for Fred will be held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Ave. E., Scarborough Ontario. Visitations on Friday, January 11, 2019, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11 am. Private cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fred's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Society.
