76 years old, of West Palm Beach, FL, died Monday, February 12, 2018. Alex was born on July 8, 1941 in Southbridge, MA to Costa and Eleni (Athanas) Zotos. He has resided in West Palm Beach for the past 39 years. Alex was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Karlsruhe, Germany for 3 years. He worked for the Palm Beach International Airport (PBIA) for 33 years as a Sign Technician, a Shop Steward and a Union Arbitrator. An artist at heart, Alex loved painting and sharing his paintings with everyone.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joanne (Buccelli) Zotos; his daughter, Nicole L (Zotos) Abreau; his brothers, Thomas Zotos (wife, Nancy) and Paul Zotos; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Stephan A Zotos in 2005.
Friends may visit with the family between the hours of 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at QUATTLEBAUM FUNERAL, CREMATION & EVENT CENTER, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd. West Palm Beach, with a Prayer Service to be held at 4:30 PM. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 19, 2019 , at St. Mary’s Orthodox Church, 1317 Florida Mango Road, West Palm Beach, FL 33406. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, West Palm Beach.
