
He was born in Perrysburg, Ohio son of the late Bernard R. and Eleanor ( Shutts ) Baker, II and was a long-time resident of Palm Beach where he raised his family with his then wife Laurel T. Baker ( div.).
Robin was a Shareholder and later Of Counsel Attorney with Gunster Law Firm, serving in Real Estate practice.
Robin was a recognized speaker, author and teacher who served as a director for the National Club Association and was active in the Urban Land Institute. He was awarded the President’s Award for Meritorious Public Service by The Florida Bar and was appointed a permanent member of the faculty of Harvard University School of Design.
Outside of work, Robin was a sailing and historic car enthusiast and avid community volunteer. He was also an active volunteer at The Church of Bethesda by the Sea.
Robin is survived by his daughters: Abigail Baker Falls and Katherine Baker Hanna as well as his grandchildren: Mary Elaine Falls, Leigh Grace Falls, James Boyd Falls and Ethan Hanna.
Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robin’s name to The American Cancer Society and The Trump 2024 Presidential Campaign.
