

Carl Louis Bernstein, 87, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018. Sergeant Carl L. Bernstein was born August 19, 1930 to Samuel and Madeline Bernstein. Carl was a decorated U.S. Army Veteran who proudly served his country in Korea. Lovingly known to his family as Papa Carl, he was an artist, master draftsman, Golden Glove, Knights of Pythias member, Freemason, and brilliant engineer. He successfully ran his own family business, CB Mechanical Services. He loved his family fiercely and protected and provided for them with every ounce of his being. This loss is immeasurable and words cannot express how greatly he will be missed by his family. Carl is survived by his loving wife, Elaine Bernstein; daughter, Marlene (Ralph) Kranchick; son, Mark (Lilly) Bernstein and daughter, Lisa (Dr. Andrew) Lepoff; brother Arnold (Peggy) Bernstein; grandchildren, Dr. Ariel Lepoff, Dr. David Lepoff, Jewel Lepoff, Michael Bradwell, Kerry Bradwell, and Karly Hauser. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, 12noon at IJ Morris at the Star of David Cemetery of the Palm Beaches, 9321 Memorial Park Rd, West Palm Beach, FL 33412. Following, Carl will be laid to rest with military honors in South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 State Rd 7 Lake Worth, FL 33449. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The West Palm Beach VA Medical Center.
