Clifton Watson Golden Sr., age 86 of Boynton Beach, Florida passed away peacefully on March 26th in Delray Beach, Florida to be with his Father and Lord in Heaven. Born in Norfolk, Virginia, he was the son of the late Clifton Waddell Golden and Lucy Dee Howerin Golden. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Blanca Obdulia Golden. He is also survived by his children Clifton Golden Jr., Sharon Golden, Linda Pallett, Francie Causey and son- in-law Winston Causey, Louise O’Neill and son-in-law Scott O’Neill, Blanca Velasquez and son-in-law Marlon Garcia, Charles Velasquez and daughter-in-law Siumy Velasquez. He is predeceased by his son Charles Golden. He is also survived by his sister Sandra Volz, brother Wayne Golden, and predeceased by his brother Paul Golden. He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren and predeceased by 2 grandchildren and is survived by his 17 great-grandchildren.
Clifton was known to those close to him as loving family man who loved to make jokes and tease anyone who was around. He was very devoted to his wife and was known to give her a little pat now and again. He enjoyed meals with his family and also going out to restaurants for a nice meal. He enjoyed watching movies with his friends and playing cards with them. He was most involved with the studying God’s word and his devotion to being a good Christian. He always looked forward to his time and involvement with the church. He would always share the Word and tell you how much Jesus loved you. He attended school in Staunton, Virginia at VSDB and went on to work and retire from a position with the Federal Government after 28 years.
