Cynthia M. Steinhoff

Cindy went home with the angels on October 23, 2016, surrounded by her loving family and friends, after a heroic battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband; James, son; Thomas, daughter Catherine, brother; Chuck Kinch and his wife, Cheri, their daughter, Amy, loving extended family and many cherished friends. She was predeceased by her parents George and Margaret Kinch

Cindy graduated from Lake Worth High School and received a Nursing Degree from Palm Beach State College. She was a Palm Beach County Firefighter Paramedic for thirty years and was one of the first female firefighters in Palm Beach County.

She loved cooking and baking and the special times shared with her family and numerous friends. Cindy enjoyed many outdoor activities, boating, camping and snow skiing were some of her favorite family times. Cindy’s life touched so many along the way. She also helped everyone she met in support of their cancer. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Palm Beach County Firefighters Benevolent Fund and the National LeioMyoSarcoma Foundation.
