Goodman, Doris (Engle), 88, of Boynton Beach, FL passed away peacefully on June 24, 2014. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Michael and Miriam Goodman and her loving granddaughters Sarah and Jenna. Born September 17, 1926 in Yonkers NY to Max and Jeanette Engle, Doris attended Yonkers High School. Prior to moving to Florida Doris resided in Putnam Valley, NY. Doris was a nurturing individual who loved to garden, worked as a teacher’s aide at BOCES with special needs children and had many great adventures visiting Europe and Mexico and working as a volunteer at a kibbutz and in the Israeli Defense Force. Family and friends are invited to attend a service honoring Doris at I.J. Morris at Star of David of the Palm Beaches at 9321 Memorial Park Road, West Palm Beach, FL at 12:00 noon on Thursday, June 26, 2014.
