Elsie Clough Weeks

West Palm Beach. She was the daughter of Nellie Siskron Clough and Waynal Greenleaf Clough, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Donald L. Weeks who passed away on May 10, 2006 and her granddaughter,

Debbie Weeks (a Twin Lake High School Cheerleader) and 3 sisters and 4 brothers.

Elsie graduated from Palm Beach High School in 1938.

She was appointed as the first secretary at Belvedere Elementary School, retiring after 19 years. She was a member of the

Palm Beach County Educational Secretaries Association and the State and National Associations.

Elsie has been an active member of the First Presbyterian Church since 1940, having served as a Sunday School Teacher,

Deacon and Elder. She was awarded a life time membership in Presbyterian Women and served as chairman of the

Senior Adult Ministry for over 13 years.

She is survived by her son; Donald L. Weeks, Jr. ; his wife Diane L. Weeks, grandson; David L. Weeks,

great grandsons; Eli and Bradley Weeks, adopted in love granddaughter; Stacey Hazzard and her family,

and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Thursday, September 22, 2016, from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at Quattlebaum Funeral Home,

5411 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL 33417.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2016, at 10:30AM at the funeral home.
