Helen was born in Plainfield, New Jersey on November 9, 1915. She was married to Adolf Gottesmann on January 28, 1949.
Helen had a career working in the recording industry, starting with Savoy Records after high school graduation. She later worked for Sony Records and retired in i980.
Helen enjoyed playing golf and was proud of her achievement in making a hole-in-one. She was very talented in the arts and pursued her interest in painting and knitting throughout her life. Her daughters are proud to display her original paintings in their homes.
Helen believed in giving back to the community. She volunteered at the local elementary school when her children were young and at the Norton Museum once a week after moving to Florida. She strongly believed in charity and she generously contributed to numerous organizations.
Helen was survived by her daughters, Rise Gottesmann and Sherry Gottesmann Rubin; her grandchildren, Eric Linder, Blake Emmanuel and Joshua Rubin; and her great-grandchildren Colin Emmanuel and Andrew Emmanuel.
Funeral arrangements will be held at 12:00 noon on April 30, 2018 at IJ Morris Star of David Cemetery of the Palm Beaches.
