Helen Maxine Hamilton

Maxine Hamilton, 95, passed away peacefully on June 30th. Maxine moved to Lake Worth from Michigan in 1924 and graduated from Lake Worth High School in 1940. She received her nurses’ training at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach and worked as a Registered Nurse in Palm Beach County for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Christena Gilmore and husband, Thomas A. Hamilton, Jr. She is survived by her loving family – her children: Rita McDevitt (Joe), Ron Hamilton (Becky), Rick Hamilton (Patti) and Chris Self, ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and brother, Harold Gilmore (Helen).
