James Patrick Manning

James Patrick Manning, age 87, passed away peacefully at his residence in Palm Beach on March 25. 2014. He was born on November 26, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY to Thomas and Helen Manning. Prior to retirement Mr. Manning was the owner of J.P. Manning Inc in NY,NY and Sport’s Socks Ireland in Cahersiveen. He was ma member of St Edward’s Catholic Church in Palm Beach and a graduate of NYU. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII.

James was pre-deceased by his first wife of over 54 years Eileen Grady Manning and his brothers John Manning and Thomas Manning. He is survived by his loving wife, Carole Coleman Manning, three daughters, Lynn Manning Satalino of Wirtz, VA; Mary Ellen Manning of Southold, LI NY; and Laurie Anne Manning of Wilmington, NC. Also he leaves hi step-daughters Mia Patch and Cristina Suarez. In addition he leaves one sister, Helen Enigan of Forest Hills, NY and three grandchildren, Tarah Leigh Satalino, James Anthony Satalino and Morgan Manning Donnelly.

A visitation will be held on March 27, 2014 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Quattlebaum Funeral , Cremation and Event Center, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33417

A Mass of Resurrection will be at St Edward’s Catholic Church in Palm Beach on Friday March 28, 2014 at 11:00 AM

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Restoration Project at St. Edward’s Church
