

John W. Enyart, 92, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Chatsworth at PGA National. Born in Callao, MO to John and Ferol Enyart in 1924, he lived much of his recent life in Florida and North Carolina.
John is survived by his wife, Rosemary, of 67 years. John was a loving husband and proud father of his three children and their spouses: Mary Ferol DiFilippo and her husband, Richard DiFilippo, of West Palm Beach, FL; John W. Enyart, Jr. and his wife, Sarah Goebel, of Charlestown, PA; and Christopher Enyart and his wife, Denise Bezerra Enyart, of Silver Spring, MD. John also leaves seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
John was a Naval Aviator and diplomat as well as an artist and Roman Catholic. A 1946 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, his career began at the end of World War II and included roles as an experimental test pilot, intelligence officer, Naval Attaché to Portugal, businessman, mentor, and entrepreneur. In 1961 he earned a graduate degree in Economics from the University of Maryland.
His family has always benefited from his character, love, humor, stories, advice, and most of all, his time.
A memorial mass in his honor will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at 10:00AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Palm Beach Gardens. Inurnment will follow with military honors at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. A special thank you to TrustBridge, Hospice of Palm Beach County, for their loving care and support.
