We lost one of those treasures this week after a life well-lived. Jack McGregor was very smart. Gracious. And forever “Canadian” polite. He was always there for his family and friends. Whether to give them a helping hand or a thought that would move them closer to meeting their objective – whatever it was. His life was filled with travel and joy shared with the love of his life, Barbara Bielenberg. Jack was meticulous at journaling every adventurous trip he and Barbara experienced. Memories that will last forever.
After receiving his Bachelors of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta in 1967, Jack launched a long and successful career focused on insolvency and restructuring of companies. His career took him throughout the United States – a country which he love, becoming a dual citizen of the U.S. and Canada.
All of us will miss Jack. Especially Barbara, his children, Michelle and Mark, daughter-in-law, Helena, grandson, Hawken, his Canadian fraternity brothers, his wonderful friends from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Ironhorse golfing buddies and his beloved dog Archie. When you think of him. Smile. He would have liked that.
