Maria and I became friends from the first time we met. She also became my esthetician and she was the best one I ever had! Her expertise and knowledge in skincare and products were exceptional. Maria had a passion for what she did and it showed. Maria was a true friend and we talked about anything and everything. She was a beautiful woman inside and out with an incredible sense of humor, she was feisty and spicy with a heart of gold. Her face would light up when she spoke of her family and grandchildren, they were her whole world.  I admired her for her strength, positivity, and love of life. Maria inspired me in so many ways. I will miss her every single day! My heartfelt condolences to Luis, Dustin, Dominic, David, and family. May the treasured memories help to give you comfort and peace.

You were so special—like no other. The hours we shared together each week, laughing, crying, and sharing los chismes, will forever live in my heart.

You were the best mother to my love, Louie, and the most amazing grandmother to the girls. You helped me beyond measure when I had my emergency C-section with the last grandbaby of the bunch, Miss Celina. I truly don’t think I could have done it without you.

You gave me so much—your advice, your wisdom, and those special touches of love through our conversations that I will cherish forever. As we say in our Cuban way, “no hay amor más grande que el de una madre.”

You were amazing inside and out. I miss you so much.

Maria was an extraordinary and devoted mother, nana, wife, and mother-in-law who always put others before herself. Her love for her children was unwavering, and she constantly cared for their well-being. She shared that same unconditional love with her grandchildren, always present, always willing to help, and always striving to make everyone around her feel happy and supported.

I am deeply grateful for the memories we shared together. Maria lovingly decorated our baby shower for Jeremiah, creating one of the most beautiful celebrations—every detail she touched was done with care and perfection. I will forever cherish the time we spent together, from watching movies to having heartfelt conversations about life. Maria and I shared some of the most meaningful talks, and the text messages we exchanged are treasures I will keep close to my heart always.

Her love, kindness, and selflessness will never be forgotten. I love you Maria.

María and I worked together at Hand and Stone.  I am a Massage Therapist and had the honor to provide treatment for her a few times . We became friends very quickly since she was always such an amazing person to me. I admired her a lot for her strength, her bravery, her passion for her work , her knowledge. Oh My friend I miss you. I still see you walking in the hallway, I still feel your presence everytime I walked by room #5 . That will always be your room. Our conversations were the best . I will forever remember all the times We shared . She was the heart and soul of Hand and Stone in Wellington. We all loved her very deeply. Rest in peace my dear friend.

I knew Maria from Hand and stone as she was my esthetician. She became a friend from the first time we met and I always enjoyed hearing about her kids and grandkids. She was a sweet, giving easy going person who truly cared about her clients. I will miss her but admire her hard fought fight as she continued to work as much as she could. I will miss seeing her and miss our chats.

Maria and I both worked as estheticians for Hand and Stone. We met on their esthetics website and I was assigned Maria as my mentee. Even though we lived across the USA from each other we quickly became best friends. We geeked out about ingredients in products and critiqued protocols together and were constantly in touch. She is the utmost kind person, quick to make me laugh, and so smart about our field. I miss her dearly.

Maria was a wonderful person always, even when she felt her worst she pushed through with grace. I remember meeting her a ME and she was the head esthetician, she was always there to go to with questions and willing to give me a helping hand with tips. When I left to go to hand and stone for a second time I asked her to come . She came and she made her way to the top. Her knowledge and love for what she did , prevailed once again. Hi mom it’s Louie boy I don’t even know where to start mom I’m dealing with me as a little baby to help me be a grown man the way you showed me to be a man and push me and push me or forever be in the back of my mind. I get to see you talking now telling me you gotta keep going you gotta provide your family it’s important. I’m gonna do it mom. I love you so much mom you showed me how to be so clean to make sure my home is beautiful and that it’s cleaned up and to make it look like a home the way you push me through school yes, you are hard on me and my brothers but you just wanted us to be good kids. You just wanted us to succeed boy we drove you crazy with the love you’ve had for me and my brothers was out of this world made sure we had what we needed regardless if you had it or not you made sure of that mom there’s not one day I don’t think about your mom. I love you more than words can ever explain it’s gonna be really hard not to be able to call you when I am sad or when I am frustrated about something that kills me. This is never goodbye mom this is see you soon. I love you. I could never forget about you your face. Your voice is forever in my memories mom !! I love u mom protect the grandbabies !!

I started seeing Maria at the spa. She was the best by far. Also she helped me when I did something stupid and burned my eyelids. That was the start of our friendship. Also my mother passed and I developed agoraphobia. Maria was the only person I would feel comfortable around for some time. She also talked thru all the drama and made me realize all families have stuff. She was there at night we'd text a lot. I was able to see her one more time but she was in such pain. I pray and hope she's at peace and anyone who knew her knows the loss of this honest sweet lady. Thank you Maria you were my angel here on earth. I will miss you forever. Carissa

I have been thinking back to years ago and some of the crazy adventures we shared. You were always so good to me and my kids. I am sorry you ever had to endure so much pain. I pray you are pain free now and reunited with loved ones. And your girl is back in your arms. Keep a look over your boys and grandchildren, as I know you will.  See you again on the other side.

Mom I love you, something I won’t be able to hear back from you. Something I’m having a hard time grasp. Something I never thought I’d have to deal with. You have always been there for me through all my trials and tribulations. I will miss you mom more than words can express. I love you very much always have and I always will. My kids will always remember you and we will always talk about how amazing nana was. Things don’t feel real and I still look at my phone to call or text you. I will always keep our messages because they’re what keep me remembering you and hearing your voice. I love you mom love you a lot, my heart is broken and missing you.
