Age 79, of West Palm Beach, FL passed away on Sept. 13. Born in Wilmington Delaware on Jan. 22, 1937 to Rebecca and Phillip Goldberg. Mort was a graduate of Wilmington High School, class of 1955. He enlisted in the Navy in 1957 as a Yeoman-Petty Officer Third Class. He married his sweetheart Elaine Bell in 1959 and had a wonderful marriage for 57 years. Mort was a principle in Bell's Supply Co. for 38 years, a family business in wholesale plumbing supply and had his own car business for 22 years. He was a member of the Masons. He drew great joy from family and friends and spending time with his children at his vacation homes in the Catskills Mountains and Ocean City Maryland.
Mort is pre-deceased by his sisters Mildred Dubin, Sylvia Weinberg and Hildagard Lee. He is loved and will be missed by his wife Elaine, children Stephanie Malin and husband Dennis, Alison Goldberg and husband Jack Kenney and Todd Goldberg and wife Susan. Grand children Ariel and Meredith Malin, Jake and Maeve Kenney and Max and Ben Goldberg and all that knew him.
Services are private at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL. Memorial contributions can be sent to an organization of your choice.
