

She was born to Mildred Whitlock, and the late Malcolm Whitlock, in Chester, Pennsylvania on July 29, 1948. Pam obtained her BA from USL (University of SW Louisiana) in Lafayette, LA; obtained her Masters of Counseling Psychology, 1993, from Mississippi College, in Jackson, MS and completed her PhD in Psychology in 2009. She was with her partner, Suzanne Pepper, for 23 years, and together they shared a life full of love, many corporate moves and wonderful pets, especially “Cher” one of the first therapy dogs registered in Mississippi.
Pam was an avid reader and exceptionally gifted with people. She was also a brilliant writer and often wrote long correspondents to family and friends. She loved art, especially painting, and had a deep love for horses and all things equestrian. She changed so many lives with her great sense of humor, and most of all, her beautiful spirit.
Pam is survived by her mother, Mildred Whitlock, of Wellington, FL; her partner, Suzanne Pepper, of Wellington, FL; her sister Marsha French, PhD, and brother in law Arthur of Colorado, as well as by her nieces: Godchild, Katherine French, of Los Angeles, CA; and Julia French, of Houston, TX.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 9th at Quattlebaum Funeral Center, 5411 Okeechobee Boulevard, West Palm Beach, FL. A Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 10th at The Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea, Palm Beach, Florida. The interment will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 12th at Forest Cemetery in Middletown, Delaware.
