Rest In Peace my cousin. I will always cherish all of the wonderful memories we’ve shared.  You were always the life of the party and have a special place in my heart until we meet again! Fly high with the angels my favorite Marine!

Pat was such a  good  man  and I have such wonderful memories of him from knowing him since 1964.  My most profound thoughts, prayers, and condolences are with Nuala and family.  Rest in peace, Yacman, and Semper Fidelis.

It’s in moments like this words fail me but I want you to know that your family in Ireland are thinking of you all today in these very difficult  times. We want to send you all our love and we pray you get the strength to get through these difficult days. We wish we could be there to support you all. We know there is a huge void in your world now but we hope it gives some comfort to know that Uncle Pat is up there in heaven pain free and happy with all the other Angels  that God has chosen before him, Gwen , Sonny   RIP Uncle Pat . Sandra and I share your sorrow and loss of our beloved Patrick.  At this time may your family and many friends give you the strength to celebrate Pat's wonderful life.
Pat was Yac and I was Zoomie.  We met 65 years ago swimming at Beacon Beach in Keansburg, NJ.  We became best friends and joined the Marine Corps together and both ended up in Viet Nam in 1967.  Yac had introduced me to his cousin Sandra who  became my wife and he was my best man and I was his best man when he married Nula.  My second son Patrick was named in Yac's honor.  We shared many wonderful experiences together.  My five sons and their families have fond memories of the summers we all spent on the Outer Banks in NC where Yac would join our family and have us laughing to the early morning hours.  We still talk about the night Yac and sister Margo did the Macarena and had the house literally rocking.  Yac was always bigger than life and the life of the party.  We will miss that personality that attracted all of us to him.  I know for sure heaven has a nice barstool with his name on it and that heaven can expect Yac to bring the largest bottle of wine and incredible Italian pastries to share with everyone.  Yac's spirit will live on in all of us and I know heaven is rocking tonight with my friend Yac in charge of the entertainment.  Sandra and I will always love and never forget you.  Rest in peace my friend. 

Wanted to express my deepest condolences on behalf of myself, Pamela, my son Bryan (Major USMC retired) and Kian Hall regarding the recent passing of Yac.  I appreciated all of his years working with Cooper/T. Smith during my tenure in Norfolk.

May he have "smooth seas and a following wind" in his transition to the next step.

Nuala we wish we could be there with you at this time as you both have been there for our family whenever we needed you.

Pat was one-of-a-kind,  a truly cherished friend and comrade. Our sympathies go out to Nuala and to all the family.  May our memories of him always be bright, colorful and  full of love. 




We were so saddened to receive news of Pat's passing.  Our deepest sympathy is sent to Nuala, Pat Jr., Mike, Keira and family members.  Pat was such a big presence in any room or circle, with his wonderful, booming laugh, many stories and his knack for making everyone feel welcomed.  Throughout many years of military service and moves, our families found one another residing in the same neighborhoods in Quantico and in Virginia Beach.  Our two boys, Mike and Kevin, came to know Pat as "Mr. Yac" and "Dad".  We cherish the wonderful memories and fun times  shared with Pat and family over the years, from neighborhood barbeques and participating in kids games in the Virginia Beach cul-de-sac to fishing in the backyard canal.  
We pray that your family will find strength, peace and comfort during this very difficult time.
Pat was one of a kind, and one hell of a Marine.  Most of all, Pat was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  Go Rest High on that Mountain, Pat,  for your work on Earth is done.  Semper Fi, old Friend.  Until we all meet again.

To the Yaccarino Family I send my sincere condolences on the loss of Mr. Yac. I have such fond memories and all of you played such a huge role in my youth. From playing a game of football in the cul-de-sac to seeing that cigar hang out of his mouth in 100 degree weather he was a truly great man.  To this day we still talk and tell stories of Mr. Yac  at various times and although our paths had not crossed for so many years he was never far from my thoughts. My thoughts are with all of you during this difficult time.

Great memories with the family in Virginia Beach. Our football games with "Dad" in the cul de sac I still think of often.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.
