Peter Driscoll

February 7, 1954September 15, 2020

Peter Driscoll, of Lake Worth, FL finally found the peace in his life on Sept 15, 2020 after a difficult lifelong illness. After being diagnosed with cancer, in May, it was only a matter of a few short months before he joined his dear mother, Helen, who had passed away on June 9, in CT. He was a devoted and loving son, calling and checking in on his dear Mom almost every evening. Peter was born in Bristol, CT on Feb 7, 1954. He attended St. Paul’s and Eastern High School, in Bristol. Eventually, he became not only a skilled craftsman at building and construction, but moved beyond that to become an efficient and sought after manager of construction projects in FL where he had settled. Some of his most notable professional projects were as Project Manager for the Delray Beach Public Library, Juno Beach Theatre, the Burt Reynolds Theater, and more. However, Peter’s proudest accomplishment was becoming a father to his son, Dylan, in September 2007, whom he treasured beyond life itself! He was an avid cyclist with a group of riders who Loved 2 Ride A1A in the Lake Worth area. They have sadly missed his presence. Although older than many, Peter was always ready to ride and rise to the occasion and give it his best shot! Peter is sorely missed by his big sister forever, Noreen Driscoll, of Canaan, CT, niece, Shana Sullivan and her son, Zachary, of Pittsfield, MA,, and nephew, Ben Breslauer, of Crested Butte, CO. Most of all, he will be missed by his son Dylan, of Lake Worth, FL, and also, Dylan’s mother, Andrea Brouillette. There have been many special friends who have supported Peter throughout his life and miss him dearly, especially Tom Vizzo, Steve Vocino and Patricia Knapick. A tribute to Peter will be held at Lake Worth Beach on what would have been his 67th birthday, February 7, 2021. More information will be found at the Quattlebaum Funeral Home website Peter Driscoll Obituary - West Palm Beach, FL
