Peter A. Scarlata, 66, born in Brooklyn, NY on November 18, 1955 passed away peacefully on January 12, 2022 in his home in West Palm Beach Florida surrounded by his loving family. He was by trade a computer specialist, at heart a musician and above all else a family man. He was the peacemaker who was quick to forgive. A man of great faith. A kind, gentle soul who never missed an opportunity to scoop you an Italian ice.
Peter was the beloved husband of his high school sweetheart Peggy for 45 years, devoted and loving father of Peter and Tricia, and cherished brother of Joanne Dame, the late Patricia Noah and Mary Frances. He leaves behind many dear aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was truly loved by all.
After his 10 year battle with Lewy Body Dementia the family would ask in lieu of flowers memorial contributions to LBDA.org be made in his honor.
A celebration of Peter's life will be held on Sunday, January 16, 2022 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Quattlebaum Funeral and Event Center located at 5411 Okeechobee Blvd., West Palm Beach Florida.
