I will certainly miss Robert. He was always willing to share words of wisdom.  I really enjoyed talking with him.  Robert was very dedicated and committed to his role at the health department.

Robert was a kind and gentle man. He volunteered for us at the Health Dept. for many years. He came every morning with a smile and was always helpful and encouring to each of us. I will miss him.

Robert was my best friend & significant other.  I am struggling with his loss & miss him so much already.  He loved everyone at the Health Dept. & he thought of everyone there as his extended family & home away from home.  Thank you for creating a memory page for him. A truly "Good Guy"...Enjoyed his company and exchanging "jabs" he gave as good as he got....but I will never forget when he gave me several cans of soup from his pantry, unaware that they were 3 years expired...=) He meant well, and anytime I saw him bringing in his lunch, I would ask him, "Hey Robert, did you check the expiration date on that?" He would always smile and give a chuckle, which in turn made me smile...I'll miss your laughter and your smile Robert...

Robert Halpren was a great gentle soul with words of tremendous knowledge for life!  He will be missed by everyone who knew him personally and professionally.

Robert was a special person, his smile will ever be on my memory page, never complains always gave encouraging words.
