He is survived by his wife Bonnie, sister Lynn Newmark, nephews, Lewis Newmark, Tucker Malsch and niece, Kelly Malsch.
Bob grew up in New York City where he attended Horace Mann High School. He received his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University.
Bob enjoyed a wonderful career as Group Publisher then Executive Vice President of the New York Times Magazine Group. He was a great storyteller and regaled his friends with his many adventures hosting clients at Wimbledon when with Tennis Magazine and the Masters when he was with Golf Digest Magazine.
He will be remembered for his kindness to all, his infectious laugh, sense of humor, charm and intelligence. But most of all for his deep love and devotion for Bonnie his beloved wife of 49 years.
He will be deeply, deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his name to Trustbridge Hospice.
