Russell was married to Alice V. Rulau, and they celebrated 25 years of marriage before his passing.
He is survived by his wife, Alice; his two daughters Valerie Rulau (and her husband Jeff Schutz) and Michelle Wyscarver; his brothers Lance (wife Missy), Scott (wife Toni) and Kyle (wife Pam) and his sisters Carla (husband Dave), Roberta (husband Mark), Yvonne and Sharon (husband Paul); his beloved nieces and nephews, and his sisters-in-law (and their families) Grace Luhring and Ellen Perry.
He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Alphonse Rulau, his step-mother, Darlene Rulau, and his mother, Prudence Rulau.

Russ’s family wishes to thank the Veterans Administration and Trustbridge Hospice for their exemplary care of Russ throughout his illness.
Russ loved his family and friends, cars (all shapes and sizes but especially Corvettes), and his pets, Maxie and Daisy.
