On the morning of June 29, 2021, Stanley “Stan” Budzinski of Palm Beach Island, Florida died at age 65 from an apparent heart attack.
Stan was born to Willard and Ann Budzinski in Peckville, Pa in 1955. Stan spent his early years living in Dickson City and Montdale, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Lakeland High School and subsequently earned an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Penn State University. Stan lived the majority of his life in Florida working in real estate with his partner and friend Rodger Kooser in the Fort Lauderdale and Mount Dora, Florida areas. Stan loved to cook, read fiction and popular best sellers, travel and care for his pet dogs, several of which were rescued from local animal shelters. He is remembered as a kind and caring man that loved to have fun with his many friends and family.
Stan is preceded in death by his father, Willard; mother, Ann; brother, Richard M Sr.; and nephew, Richard M Jr.; his nephew, Richard; and, sisters-in-law, Maureen Anne Spencer Budzinski and Genevieve Strugala Budzinski. He is survived by his brother, Thomas and his wife, Brenda of Montdale, Pa; his brother, Lt Colonel Willard Budzinski, USAF(Retired) of Durham, NC; his ex-partner and friend of 40 years, Rodger Kooser of Tampa, Fla; and, nieces, Cheryl Anne Budzinski of Durham, NC; Kassandra Budzinski Zinsel and her husband, Kevin, of Aston, Pa; and Jacquelyeen Budzinski Boney and her husband, John, of Bellefonte, Pa; nephew, Michael, Scott Township, Pa; and by several cousins and grand nieces. along with multiple nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews through his extended family with Rodger Kooser.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Stan’s cremated remains, along with the remains of his beloved pets, will be scattered in the ocean off the coast of Fort Lauderdale, Florida at a later date.
