So many good times at the Schaad family home. Meetings in the big tree in the back yard that we would all climb and hang out to discuss goings on in the neighborhood. Bike riding on the "new roads" on the block behind the house. Taking the scary trestle across the canal to get to the palm coast shopping center. Kick ball in the street on 19th ave north.... so many cherished memories. Tom you will be missed.

My brother had a gruff exterior and a gentle heart. From helping an old man replant a half downed tree his wife and he had planted fifty years previous after a hurricane upended it, to rescuing small animals to set them free- he was a kind man.
He leaves behind a devastated widow whom he loved with every fiber of his being, three beautiful children and four energetic grand babies. Too soon. We will miss him every day.
Don’t worry Tommy, The Kids are Alright.

I am an old friend from the 70's. I am representing an old crew from Tom's days when he lived on 441 and lantana rd. Nick Mahler was his neighbor and friends Mark Columbo, Tim and Kathy Falstad Inman as well as his brother in-law at the time Rick Perry and many others, want to send our condolences to his family during this time of loss. We remember Tom as such a fun loving happy go lucky anything goes kind of guy. He was always the life of ANY party and he loved his wife and 2 little girls at the time more then anything. What a wonderful man to have had as a father. We have many happy fond memories of him and his love and zest for life. He had such an impact on all of us that here we are 40 years later leaving a written testimony to the legacy he left on some 20 year old kids. We are sad to hear of his passing and hope that the memories you have created will bring you comfort for the years to come.
