

Veronica D. Grimail, age 100, passed away at The Florida Lutheran Health Center in Deland, FL on March 20, 2014. Veronica was born in Danville, Ill to Simon and Delia Rokoske on November 17, 1913. She was a member of St Luke Catholic Church in Lake Worth where she was also a member of the Senior Citizens Club at the church.
Veronica was an early post-war pioneer of West Palm Beach; residing in the Palm Beach area for over 50 years. She and her husband, Joseph J. Grimail started the first pharmacy in the city. The Grimial’s were famous for their expertise on the dance floor at the Lake Worth Casino. Mrs. Grimail’s talents extended to sewing her own clothes, gardening and gourmet cooking.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Joseph J. Grimail in 1991. She is survived by her loving family, a sister Frances P. Grimes of Cincinnati, Ohio; five nieces, Margaret Bullard; Julia Opal Dull; Patricia Persyzk; and Jeanette Andre. She also leaves three nephews, Thomas Rokoske; H. Leighton Grimes and Michael Andre.
A visitation will be held on Friday March 28, 2014 from 5-7 PM at the Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33417.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at St Luke Catholic Church in Lake Worth, FL with interment following at Hillcrest memorial Park, West Palm Beach, FL
