

Born in New York, NY and raised in Oyster Bay, NY, he was a resident of Palm Beach for over thirty years. Renny was a gentleman with a quick wit, a happy disposition, and a cheerful sense of camaraderie. He attended the Greenvale School, St. Paul's, and the University of Pennsylvania, and was a member of many clubs including: The Union, Leash, Piping Rock, Southampton Club, and the Sailfish Club of Florida.
As a member of the New York Stock Exchange, Renny was well-respected by his former colleagues as both a Specialist and Floor Broker.
He loved boats and animals, and served as a Vice President of the ASPCA. Over the years, Renny had many dogs and horses, notably Maximillian, Schultz, Pedro, Winnie, and Pepito. A loyal friend to many and known for his sense of fun and good humor, he will be missed.
Renny is survived by his sister,, Terry Hanson; three children, Renny Jr., Kathy, and Robert; and three grandchildren, Luc, Alexander, and Louis.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00AM on June 24, 2017 at the Episcopal Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea, 141 South County Road, Palm Beach, FL 33480. The family will receive friends in fellowship during a reception immediately following the Service.
