This past Tuesday morning of June 21, 2022, William P. Campbell Jr., loving husband and father of two children, passed away at the age of 77. Bill was born on September 30, 1944 in Somers Point, New Jersey to William and Maribelle Campbell. Bill grew up in Norwood, North Carolina and in Plantation, Florida.
He join the United States Air Force on March 29, 1965, at the Korat Royal Thai Air Force Base during the Vietnam Conflict until his Honorable Discharge on October 28, 1968. On October 21, 1969, Bill married Jud (Joy) Srikoa in Bangkok, Thailand. They raise two children here in Palm Beach County, daughter Nongnot (Nona) and son Benjamin (Benji).
Bill worked in the concrete industry for over 30 years as an operations dispatcher. He also had a passion with fishing, and making custom fishing rods, along with refurbishing wood furniture. He also helped build his own home which he lived in for 45 years.
Bill was preceded in death by his father William, his mother Maribelle, his sister Roxanne, and wife Joy. He is survived by his wife Thanaphan (Suzie); his daughter Nongnot and her husband Roy Boulware; his son Benjamin, his wife Colleen and his grandson Kyle P. Campbell; his stepdaughter Thanachanok (Ook) and her son August who live in Thailand.
A memorial service for Bill will be held Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center, 5411 Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33417. Military honors will be rendered at 6pm. The family requests that loud Hawaiian shirts and khaki shorts be worn to honor Bill.
