William John “Bill” Graham, Jr, 90, of Manalapan, Florida, passed away peacefully in his home on July 8, 2022. He was born to parents William John Graham and Edith (Brown) Graham on May 23, 1932. Bill attended Wabash College in Indiana, where he received his degree in English then continued his studies at the prestigious Wharton College of Business. He proudly and respectfully served our country in the United States Army, where he worked in the Pentagon, Washington D.C.
Bill married his first love and high school sweetheart, Gloria Simpson Graham, in Saint Joseph Catholic Church, Hammond, Indiana on June 6, 1953. They had a life full of love and happiness, and set a true example of admiration and respect for their family. Bill leaves two daughters, Kim Graham (Ralph Lay) of Tampa and Kelly Poyner (Bobby) of Palm Beach Gardens; four sons, Mark (Diane) of Homosassa Springs, William (Carol) of Wellington, Chris (Kristy) of Lake Worth, and Carter (Jerian) of North Palm Beach; 16 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Bill excelled in many aspects of his life. A true athlete, he bowled six perfect games and had six hole-in-one’s on the golf course. He was proud to read from the bible during mass and privately at home. Bill served as Commissioner and Vice Mayor of Manalapan and President of the Mayacoo Lakes Country Club, where he won a Club Championship. He was a successful, self-employed commercial real estate investor and a wonderful husband, dad, grand-daddy and mentor to all.
A Catholic mass will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at 1:00 PM at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, 13645 Paddock Drive in Wellington. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Bill’s name.
