My dear Del ♥  I met you on Cape Cod when you came to one of my clients homes (Norman and Ruth) to work your magic with her hair. I always looked forward to your visits! You always complimented me on how neat and clean the kitchen was especially the sink! But I truly felt how special you were, wishing I was more like you. Today I stumbled upon an old address book and saw your name. Which led me here. May you rest in Eternal peace my dear friend. You were a bright spot in my life 💜

Grammy was such a wonderful person, inside and out. We didn’t grow up living near our dad’s parents, so seeing them was very special. I especially remember visiting them in the summer of 1994 in Cape Cod, cruising around Hyannis Port in a red convertible my dad rented and Grammy showing us all over town. Same with Martha’s Vineyard; she was very intelligent and always had an amazing story to tell. Grammy loved my kids as well, and always gave me good mom advice! She is someone I try to emulate in raising a family, as she and my Grampy did so well. Rest in peace  and I will always remember you and love you.

My deepest sympathy about the passing of your mom. She was 
a very special lady and I am grateful to have known both of your parents. My father ,Stanley W. Los, was also a founding member, and secretary of Friends of Poland. My father passed away in 2003. I had moved back to Massachusetts when he became ill. I joined the organization and became membership chairperson. Our group is smaller now but we still are active and make yearly donations to Poland.

So many wonderful memories of Gram! I remember when she taught me to draw curly hair “like a C then another C.” I remember when she would send boxes of homemade cookies cross country just because - all of our favorites, each one wrapped in wax paper. I remember that amazing Gram laugh when she really got going! (Was it a whoop? A yodel? I can’t even explain it other than it made you immediately laugh along). I love to remember laughing until my stomach hurt with my mom and my godmother when they would tell us stories about their adventures with Gram when they were children.  And I especially love to remember that special Gram cheek squeeze that you got no matter how old you were or how long it’d been since you’d seen her last. It always made you feel like all was right in the world. We’ll miss you Gram.

Grammy, you will be missed. Although my grandparents lived in another state, we weren’t able to see them often but when we did it never seem like they were ever far away. Grammy always made each grandchild feel very special.  
Some of my biggest memories when going to visit Grammy was sitting in her hair salon and pumping up the chairs and fooling around with my cousins. So much fun! I also remember picking raspberries in their yard. When I got older Grammy always had words of encouragement for us whether it be with your family or jobs and every time she would say hello to you, she would grab your face and look right in your eyes to do it. 💕 Rest In Peace Grammy 

My mom loved to read, but was most at home telling stories of her wonderful childhood. She loved telling her favorite story of The Town Bully and even had it published in a local paper when she lived on Cape Cod in 2001. 

My earliest memories of my mom was Delray street,around 1957 or 58.She would spread shelf paper on the kitchen table,and we would draw. city scape comes to mind,mom was very good sketch artist.to draw a tree,she showed me how the crown and leaves would look,then birds flying away(in a modified"V")clouds,and then she would attemp a car,with smoke comin out of the radiator spout,and I would say,"mom,the smoke comes out the tailpipe.she wasn't great at drawing machines,but it was so rewarding having that instruction.later on,in Rochester I would bring my model car creations to her for comment.she was so interested,which drove me deeper into my hobby.she was a creative influence,always took time to instruct ,encourage.

Grammy, or Gramcracker, was the perfect mix of toughness and warmth.  She was such a natural grandmother, and would make you feel at home whenever you were with her.  We loved visiting every summer on the Cape, and cherished having her in Ann Arbor for the past 11 years.  We had a blast making texas sheet cake together and  showing her the ropes of her new laptop.  I see so much of her in our family, and will miss her big hugs and pinching my cheeks with a huge smile and laugh.  

Grammy, who Molly lovingly named, "Gramcracker" was honestly just the best. She's the reason I'm a chacha and I call my niece and nephew Booboosh. My favorite was getting her to tell us bad words in polish. Grampy was never pleased, ha!

Visiting Hanson, Cape Cod, and then moving them both to Ann Arbor it's hard to pick just one memory of her. I think I'll remember her spirit the most. She was so fierce, and so loving, and sooo funny. Her love for Grampy was the stuff of legends and being around them both it was impossible not to feel like the most important person in the room. I'm still very sad that she's gone, but I love seeing her in my mom who is now a Busha (grammy) to her own Littles. To my Gramcracker, I will miss you.

I always remember Grammy as kind, energetic, and loving. I would love visiting her and Grampy, especially around the holidays. One of my favorite memories is having Christmas oplatek. Grammy would always have a long, very thoughtful wish for you and then break off a huge piece with a smile. So, for her now, I wish her peace and love, together with Grampy. 

I will miss my grandmother very much. We used to love going to visit her and Grampy when we were kids. We always got a free haircut and she would cook the best food for  us! Every one of my birthdays she would send me newspaper comics for me and my brother to read along with some ice cream money and always wrote a nice long message on the card.  I remember most of all that she truly cared about and loved us.  I know she is in a better place now and I will miss her immensely.

Such wonderful memories of my loving Grammy. The ones that stand out are when my dad would take us to Hanson for thanksgiving. We got to see our cousins Leif and Jarrett and stay up in the loft, laughing and having fun with our aunt Sharon. My grammy would serve us vanilla bean ice cream and I remember it tasting so good, simple as it was. Grammy would cut our hair, and give us styling tips, we always left with a goody bag of products. She always wanted to know about our lives, she was so full of life! I attribute a lot of my energy to her. Will always cherish memories of my wonderful Grammy ❤️

One of my fondest memories was after we would all get together and be cleaning up in the kitchen after a big meal. One of us would start talking about something Mom did when we were growing up and we would start laughing uncontrollably. Then my mother would come in the kitchen to see what the fuss was about. Once we started by saying "Remember when Mom used to cut our bangs real short?" More laughter. Then my mother would say, "That was the style" and she laughed with us. She just loved it when her kids were having fun together, even if it meant she was the object of our laughter.
