Dorie will remain in my heart forever. We had a nice connection . Working nights I was able to stop in and chit chat with her. (she always had good candy which she made me eat!!) We talked about politics (we had a lot in common on that subject), Buffalo Bills, nursing, but most of all our families. She spoke so highly of all of you. She yearned for the day that this virus was over so she could hug all of you again. I will never forget her! 💕

My thoughts and prayers are with you from afar. I have so many great memories at all our family gatherings. I will always cherish those times. May all those wonderful memories help ease the pain and sorrow.

Many memories of times spent with the cousins. Dorie was my husband’s nurse after an operation when we were dating. Jack later met her at a family gathering where Dorie took great delight telling everyone she had seen his behind. Thanks for sharing all the photos, they are certainly representative of a life well lived and loved. Rest In Peace Cousin Dorie. Sincere sympathies, Cousin Kathy

Dear Family,
I remember Dorie from grammar school #67 on Abbott Rd., then on to South Park High! So many years of school together in our little city of “South Buffalo”. She was always so kind to everyone. Please accept my deepest sympathy.
Sincerely,
Barb Kane

I remember Dorie from our days at South Park High School, Class of 1964. We renewed our friendship recently, and I enjoyed our conversations. Sincere sympathy to her loving family. Know I will offer Holy Mass for the repose of her soul. Dorie, REST IN PEACE!

My deepest condolences to Maryann and the entire family. So many memories of Dory. Walking along Hancock St. to School 67 with all the kids from Arbor Lane. Summer vacations at Wasaga Beach. The summer Dory had hip surgery and was in a body cast--your parents set her up on a lawn chair in the front yard and neighborhood kids would congregate there. Praying for all the Breidensteins and Meyers.
