

has died after his long heroic struggle with cancer. Jim is survived by his devoted wife Kelly and loving children Marilyn and Patrick and he was a very special Papa to Donavin. Additionally, Jim and Kelly opened their home to Aaron McCabe and Sarah Stack
Jim retired from the State of New York as a heating plant equipment specialist after 30 years of service- he was a musician that loved guitar and songwriting and happily shared with his family and friends. He also loved travel and he and his wife enjoyed not only trips to Ireland, Paris, and London, but he also cherished his ‘family and friends’ week at Allegany each year. Yearly trips to Florida and California were also looked forward to.
Jim was a member of Babcock Boys Club Alumni.
Jim’s large family include those that predeceased him; parents Charles J. and Berneice; Susan (Norm) Reimers, Charles (Lucy), Sally (Jack) Fulater, Frank (Shirley) Michael (Nina) and Deborah McCabe.
He is survived by: many brothers and sisters that include Sharon (Paul) Hulme, Bea (Joseph) Janiga, Marilynn (Walter) Natwora, Kathleen (Thomas) White, Marjorie (Frank) Gallagher, Thomas (Jeffrey) McCabe, Maida McCabe, Joseph McCabe, and Matthew (April) McCabe; as well as many nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
Jim had a positive impact on all those he met.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Roswell Park Cancer Institute or Hospice Buffalo Inc. are greatly appreciated.
Friends may call Friday, 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Hoy Funeral Home, 3855 Seneca Street, West Seneca NY 14224. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday from Queen of Heaven RC Church (corner of Mill Rd. & Seneca St) at 10:15 am
