Beloved former husband of Patricia (Rob Jankowski) Herdzik, Cherished Father of Lori (Andrew) Pace, Kimberly (Michael Jeris) Hudson, John W. (Laurie) Herdzik, and the late Billy Herdzik. Loving Papa of Brycen, Loran, Mackenzie, Sam, Maya, Jaxon, Brayden, Hailie and Emma. John was a lifelong animal lover who created a joyful home filled with the love and companionship of many devoted pets. Also survived by many loving family and friends.
John enjoyed spending his weekends at Rushford; hiking, hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He was an avid golfer and biggest Nascar, Philadelphia Phillies, Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres fan.

No prior visitation. A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, 700 Pine Ridge Heritage Blvd, Buffalo, NY 14225 at 10am.
