John was such a truly great person to work with on the ASICS stores. I honestly am not sure how long we’ve worked together because it seems as though he was just always part of the ASICS team. I was so happy to finally get to meet him during COVID at the Tonal 5th Ave  GO party. Sending lots of love and light to all of his family, friends , and colleagues. He will be immensely missed.

I had the pleasure of working with John for the last 4 years. He is part of the fabric of ASICS retail and was a true pleasure to work with. As many have noted, he was kind, compassionate, and very dedicated. I know he made a major impact in the lives of many and we were all very fortunate to know him. He is most certainly missed and will always be remembered fondly. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family. May his memory and presence be with you and comfort you.

I am sending my deepest sympathy to all that loved John. I had the pleasure of working with John for eight years. He was such an amazing leader and person.  
As I got to know him, his love for his family was so clear. He often joked around about how he enjoyed a relaxing vacation whereas his wife and boys loved adventure. This was a shock to me at first knowing John's always on task and ready to jump in leadership. 
There are so many things I could say, but I am really just grateful to have had someone like John in my corner supporting my career while also always prioritizing a family first mentality.

I am truly honored to have known John during my time at ASICS. He was a selfless and humble leader who approached life with extraordinary kindness. I vividly remember working with John, my manager at the time, during the New York City Marathon. When my husband and kids came to visit me, John immediately insisted that I take a day off to spend time with them exploring the city. That moment perfectly captured his family first approach to life and his genuine care for others.

It’s heartbreaking to hear that his beautiful life was cut short. John had such a positive impact on those lucky enough to know him. My heart goes out to his family and friends during this extraordinarily difficult time. Thank you for sharing John with the rest of us.

I had the privilege of working directly with John. More often than not, he was the smartest person in the room, but I don’t think that thought ever crossed his mind. That just wasn’t his way.  He was kind, patient, thoughtful and always ready to offer words of encouragement. I learned a great deal about leading with dignity and integrity from John. I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss. John was a light and a great person we got to work alongside at ASICS. His smile, positive attitude and character will be missed beyond belief.

Would like to send my sadness to John’s family.  I knew John growing up very well.  We played stingrays soccer together.  We called him butchie and he was a great friend and s buffalo boy.  Many memories with John.  Although we all go are ways we never forget.  RIP my friend 😢
