John "Jack" W. Schwing passed on August 4, 2026, at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Karen E. (nee Kemble); dearest father of John W. Schwing Jr., Jodi (John) Forgione and Jeffrey Schwing; loving grandfather of Benjamin (Kaitlyn) Zaky, Brenden (Leah Scanio) Zaky, Kaylie, Ava and Eli; great-grandfather of Rowynn; brother of the late Patricia (Ike) Michaud; brother in law of Ken (Monica and the late Tina) Kemble godfather of Bitsy, Timothy and Mary Beth; survived by nieces, nephews and bonus niece, Jill. Family will be present Monday 3-6 PM at HOY FUNERAL HOME, 3855 Seneca St., West Seneca. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo.
