3 years since you left. When you left part of me went with you. I hurt just as much today as 3 years ago. Rest easy my brother, we will meet again.

Marie and family we were saddened to hear about Joe's passing.  Knowing Joe for the years we have he was always professional and great to chat with.  He will truly be missed.  Our prayers are being sent to all of you during this difficult time.  May the Perpetual light shine upon him.

   We  were very sad to learn of the loss of Joe and at such a young age. We send you our deepest condolences. We are distant cousins through your mother on my father Frank's side. I worked with Joe at Eastern Niagara Hospital.  We worked on many projects and  sat in many meetings together.  He was great to work with  and we had a lot of laughs.   My thoughts and prayers go to his family.   

I worked with Joe at Lockport/Newfane Hospitals and after he encouraged me to submit my resume, became his analyst when he was Compliance Director.  He was patient with me, an excellent teacher and always had a great sense of humor to go along with his smarts.  My heart felt prayers to his family.

I worked with Joe at Eastern Niagara Hospital, he was a great guy. I am so sorry for your loss. He loved his family so much, we shared many stories. May he Rest In Peace and may you keep all your great memories alive by sharing them with each other. Sending love and prayers to all.

I have so many great memories of growing up on Susan Drive with Joe (and all of the other Hoestermann boys).  Our play time would start early in the morning and besides breaks for lunch and dinner, we would be outside playing games in the street until at least dusk and even later.  Hide 'n Seek was especially fun when it was dark!  May Joe rest in peace and prayers to the family during this really difficult time for someone that was taken way to young. Our hearts are broken…. Joe was truly one of the best ,
and this world will not be the same without him. So many great year’s of golfing at Caz. Early in the morning , beer for breakfast, followed by grand slams at Denny’s. We will miss joe’s great laughter heard around the neighborhood for miles! So many great nights watching “BB” in the backyard and having great times in the teepee when it was freezing outside. Joe always marveled at Sandy’s sunflowers and the giant tomatoes from our garden. Joe always cared about my crazy hobbies . He was a rare human being who actually listened to others and what they had to say. Also Joe was one hell of an accountant and helped us for many years. Joe was our neighbor but turned into a dear friend……
Our thoughts go to Marie and his three fantastic children.. Joe always the proud father and rightly so.

To Joe's Family and Friends,
Joe served on the boards of the Baker Victory Health Care Center as well as the OLV Human Services board.  He was a kind, intelligent, supportive presence and this loss will be deeply felt by those of us who had the privilege of working alongside him in furtherance of Father Baker's mission.  I feel blessed that I got to know him and appreciate all he taught me in the process.  May Father Baker meet you at the gates of heaven, Joe, and lead you to everlasting life.

Joe, ( my boy)- words certainly aren't enough to say what it was like being your friend for almost 50 years. But words are all I've got. Hundreds of fabulous memories, good and bad, growing up together, sports, school, girls, marriage, children, careers etc. Through it all we were always close, kept and touch, and continued having great times. It was an honor being your friend, more like a brother. Simply put Joe, you made me a better person, the way you handled your life, career, family etc. God bless your family and all those you touched.  I'll never forget you my friend and all the times we shared. Save Pete and I a seat buddy, until we meet again, always your pal, Dave. P.S. I'll miss a ton of different things we did together, but I'll really miss Sandy and I playing cards at your house watching you get so mad when you lose.
