I've known Judy for over 30 years. I first met her at our attorney's office, Morris and Bray, PC, and we hit it off right away. We both loved animals! She was a very special person and loved animals 
(Domestic and Wildlife) more than life itself! I was, and am, a Wildlife Rehabilitator. I'll never forget one day I took my red orphan squirrels into Judy's office to show her. She immediately fell in love with them! I also remember the time when Judy, Aline, and JC took care of my orphan squirrels while I went away for the weekend. I don't remember the time frame, as it was so long ago, but Judy herself ended up getting her license and became a Wildlife Rehabilitator. Sometime after that there was a meeting at Chestnut Ridge Park discussing opening a Wildlife hospital. Eventually Messenger Woods Wildlife Care and Education center opened its doors. At one point in time Judy was the president. Judy was a fantastic person and one of my mentors. I will miss her very much. My heart just broke when I was told of her disease and subsequent passing. It will be very sad for me to go to our attorney's office without Judy being there. I am still in shock and can't believe her soul has left her body. She was always such a strong and healthy person. Judy, I love you and I send you a great big hug! You will be remembered always and forever! My deepest sympathy goes out to Arline, JC, and Marianne who were her closest friends. I know they will be lost without her. My sympathy also goes out to all of her friends from Messinger woods, her other friends, and her family! Judy, rest in Peace and enjoy all the animals, family, and friends who are with you! Again, I love you my friend!

Judy was a beautiful person inside and out.   Cared about people and animals.   My prayers and thoughts go out to her Messinger Woods family and everyone who loved her.

Judy was such a special and giving person. She made such an impression on our boys with her love of wildlife rehab and trips to their elementary school with Messinger Woods that they grew up to become volunteers there during the summer. Judy will be so missed.

Our family has been blessed to call Judy (and the golden girls) our best neighbors since May 1989. God placed us next to each other knowing our love of animals , believing that we need to help others out anytime but mostly because we would be the perfect fit.  Our dogs & cats, past & present,  would always be so excited to see her for treats . When our granddaughter Shea was born , she always had to run over to see the girls too. Judy  was a gift from God to all humans and animals. You will be sorely missed but we will always have great memories of you. Love you so much . Heaven gained another angel.🩷🩷🩷🩷

I met Judy in 2005 when I started volunteering at Messinger Woods.  Judy was a mentor and a friend.  She was always there whenever I had a question or needed help. She was such a kind, gentle, loving soul.  Judy had a tremendous dedication to wildlife and Messinger Woods, and her legacy will live on.
You will be greatly missed by everyone, Judy! May you you rest now with  animals beside you. I bet my Chloe met you at the door.

I’m so saddened to hear this news. Judy was a great friend to my mother,  and a generous, genuinely lovely person.  My deepest condolences to all who knew and loved her.

Judy, Arline, and Marianne introduced me to the wonderful works of Messinger Woods, and my memories of that time in my life are very special to me.    Rest In Peace, Judy.   I’m sure you have been greeted by the numerous souls, 2 and 4 legged creatures, you have helped along the way.   
I do hope there is a gathering so we can all share stories, celebrate Judy’s  life, and reconnect with friends from the past.

Judy (Aunt Judy to me) was my Godmother and truly an inspiration to me on how to live a full and meaningful life.  She taught me the need to be kind, loving and giving of not only materialistic things in the world but more importantly our time and love for one another.  To say that she has left behind a legacy would be an understatement with all the lives that she impacted through the years, both people and animals.  My Godmother helped to mold me into the man I am today and for that I will forever be grateful. 
 
Genesis 1:21 is a verse that I think emulates how Judy viewed nature.  The scripture reads “So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.”  Just like God saw that it was good, so did Judy.  God gave her the purpose to help and ensure that His creatures were always cared for and she did it passionately.  

Judy will be missed by all, my family and I will miss the holiday dinners together, the constant laughter and the infectious smile that was always on her face.  All this said, we know that she is now in Heaven enjoying all of Gods creation and love.  Until we meet again, love and miss you…. XOXO

Judy was one of the most precious people I’ve ever met. She made the world a better place. Her devotion to those she loved and the animals she loved was unmatched. My heart breaks for all who loved her. Many prayers to her family and friends. Rest in peace Judy

I’m devastated to learn of Judy’s passing. She handled legal issues for me recently during a time of immense pain . Her calm professional demeanor soothed me through the conflict. 

Her work at the Law office of Morris and Bray was valued by all.

My heart breaks with the news of Judy's passing.  I have known Judy since the early Sabre games as we were both in the Booster Club along with Arlune Adams and Judy Cresanti.   Such a sweet soul.

For over twenty years, Judy has been my teacher, my mentor and my friend. May God’s comfort be with us all as we mourn the loss of this remarkable and precious woman. And may we each find our own way to carry on the wildlife work that meant so much to her. Rest in glory and peace, dear Judy.

Judy and I shared a love for wildlife for nearly a quarter century, as long as I have known her. Her love of wildlife, however, was much more - a firm, unrelenting dedication, almost an obsession. Judy was instrumental in the founding, development and growth of her beloved Messinger Woods. She served as an officer and dedicated volunteer from the organizations founding to her untimely recent death. She was the catalyst that made the organization what it is today. Judy was a compassionate and knowledgeable wildlife rehabber whose patience and dedication helped  much wildife and resulted in many members of the public to have a better understanding of wildlife, and in some cases become dedicated to their survival. God Speed, Judy, we will miss you, the animals will miss you. Thank You for all you did for them.
