This is my favorite memory of Mark....when we were kids, we often played kickball in the street. Mark would sit on the porch until he had enough of us fighting and get up and become the referee. I think there were times we purposely fought and cheated so he would down and become the ref. Mark was a quiet man; sturdy, confident and humble - marks of truly great man, husband, father and friend. Rest in Peace, Mark.

Mark was a great boss and almost another father figure to most of us who spent the better part of our late teens and early twenties working at PC. Throughout our chaotic Halloween seasons and balloon filled graduation summers, Mark always found time to share some of his words of wisdom and offer us some advice. The love he had for his family could be felt whenever he spoke of Molly and the boys. He had a significant impact on his “work kids” lives and we all will miss him dearly. Molly, Jacob, Zach and the entire family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mark was that "speak softly, but carry a big stick" type of leader. You respected him and he respected you. He worked so hard, but was never too busy to stop and ask you about your day. I always admired him and I know the entire Party City crew would say the same. He spoke so lovingly of his wife and sons and my heart just breaks for them. This one hurts.
RIP Mark. I'll always lead through your example.

For the short seasonal position I had at party city he was the sweetest, yet firm best boss anyone could’ve asked for . A warmth that radiated about him everyday at work . I know the Party City family , as well as many others will truly miss him.
