Mark was a gracious, thoughtful person and spoken of highly. He will be surely missed. When at the memorial display, a grandson came & put a handwritten list of how to be a great defenseman composed by Mark. It is my hope that the family publishes it as it would be a travesty not to share it. His intellect and spirit showed through. Good luck in all the family does and it was an honor to know Mark.

To Mary Ann and Mark’s family,
We just found out and are saddened by your loss. Mark was a great man and coach. I had some great times with Mark coaching at St Francis. We were lucky enough to have seen him a few weeks ago, where else but at a rink, watching his grandson. Please know that, on behalf of the entire Dantonio family you will be in our thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely
John, Dana, JD, Jake and the entire Dantonio family

We are so sorry for your family's loss. Mark was loved and respected by his 'Buffalo Old Boys" Hockey family. He was my favorite defensive partner and hero over the years. I've attached a 50 year old picture of us (mustaches and hair a little different) but his great spirit remained the same.

WOW! The family photos say it all! Loving husband, father, father-in -law and grandfather. He was so very proud of each and everyone of you...Full of pride but very humble. Great and loyal friend to so many, especially his buddy Dennis Martin. Stood happily in the role blessing both of Dennis' children's marriages. Even though our moments with Mark were limited , Tom and I both felt his warmth and love immediately.
Mark you will missed by so many but we know we can speak for all that your presence in each of our lives will remain in our hearts forever. RIP

I have loved the Kapios/Hubbard family for about 46 yrs.The way people talk about Buffalo and the way they , treat strangers, well this family wrote the book on compassion, making people feel welcome AND loved. No words can measure your lose, but I know that each and everyone of these family memberships will heal together and look out for each other.Mark was the best.My deepest heartfelt sympathies. If you need Dave's help just call he would be happy to pitch in. God Bless you all,

Love, Debbie Park Leandre and David Leandre and Gramma Joan Saletta
