Of Orchard Park, NY entered into eternal rest on July 29, 2023. Married for over 55 years to George R. Chernowski; Mother of John G. (Marcy) Chernowski, Kristin Mary Chernowski and Joseph G. (Kelly) Chernowski; Extremely proud and loving grandmother of Joseph and Kelly’s six children: Naomi L., Faith A., Lydia E., Esther G., Luke J. and Linus G.; Sister of Rose Marie (Mark) Umiker and William (Katherine) Coppola; Also survived by 11 nephews and nieces. Mary Ann spent her life serving the South Buffalo Community, holding the honor of being named a Paul Harris Fellow from Rotary International for her extensive educational and enrichment services. Mary Ann served for over 30 years as director of Life-Long Learning at Trocaire College, authoring programs such as Microsoft Certification, among many professional level courses, Kids on Campus for summer enrichment and educational improvement, Women Understanding Football in conjunction with the Buffalo Bills, and hundreds of various other offerings.
