Patricia J. Hens

Age 88, of Weirton, WV, formerly of Elma, NY passed away peacefully on May 24, 2021. Pat was born in

Jamestown, NY on December 16, 1932 to Arthur R. Torrens and Lillian Heeney Torrens. Pat and the late Bartholomew F. Hens were married on October 1, 1955. Their 57 years of marriage were blessed with three children, five grandchildren, and ten greatgrandchildren. Pat graduated from the Mercy School of Nursing in 1953 and was a registered nurse for more than 50 years beginning at Buffalo Mercy Hospital. Pat continued her profession as psychiatric nurse at Buffalo Psychiatric Hospital and the Community

Mental Health Center. Later Pat worked as a nurse at the Gowanda Psychiatric Center, Conners Residential Treatment Center, West Seneca Developmental Center and Hospice Buffalo. Pat and her husband Bart will be fondly remembered for their love of helping others. Pat was a committed volunteer

for the Dining Room of Saint Vincent DePaul, the American Red Cross, the Franciscan Center, La Casa, Little Portion Friary, and Pat served as a Eucharistic Minister. Pat is the mother of the late Bart F. Hens Jr. (Melissa). Pat is survived by her daughter Kathryn M. Hens-Greco (Sam) and son Martin J. Hens (Mary); her grandchildren, Travis Hens (Katrina), Michelle Harnage (Dustin), Justin Hens (Becca Lynn

Martin), Kaitlin Hens-Greco (Joshua Weiland), Eliza Hens-Greco (David Friedman) and her great-grandchildren, Jubilee and Khloe Waychoff, Riley and Oliver Hens, Matthew, Addison, and Caroline Harnage, Reed and Rivers, and Alessi R. Hensgreco-Weiland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be

celebrated Thursday, May 27, 2021, at 10:15 AM, at Queen of Heaven Parish, West Seneca, NY. Friends
