Patricia Ann McCartan (nee Peters) of West Seneca, NY. Beloved wife of the late Clifford A. McCartan; dearest mother of Daniel (Linda) and Michael (Kimberly) McCartan; loving grandmother of Marie (Austin) Kuzara, Madeline (Evan Banks) McCartan, Sean and Benjamin McCartan; sister of the late Edward (late Janet) and the late Raymond (Janis) Peters, step-sister of Rebecca Hill and the late Howard (late Anne) Baker and the late Frank (Judy) Baker; god child of Esther Rybacki Brezynski; niece of the late Mary Finn Boldt; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present Tuesday 4-8 PM at HOY FUNERAL HOME, 3855 Seneca St., West Seneca, where prayers will be said Wednesday Morning at 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10 AM at Queen of Heaven Church, 4220 Seneca St., West Seneca. Flowers gratefully declined. Given her superior skills as a mathematician at Calspan, Pat used her Slide Rule to help put men on the moon, a 50 year veteran of the Boy Scouts of America, Catholic Committee on Scouting, recipient of the St. George Award and longtime math teacher at several Catholic High Schools.
