Raymond V. Gietler passed on September 20, 2026, at the age of 83. Beloved husband of 61 years to Carol (nee Pakos); loving father of Raymond (Adriana), Suzanne (Gary) Pagels, Deanna (Michael) Newman and Carolyn (Eric) Schlierf; cherished grandfather of Taylor (Cody), Danielle (Michael), Emily (Michael), Zachary (Zoe), Madison, Matthew and Faith; great-grandfather of Elijah, Rowyn, Jaxon, Charlotte, Ellie, Blake and Wyatt. Private services will be held by the immediate family.
Ray was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, and looked forward to trips out to Oregon, and elk hunting with friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made of Hospice of Buffalo.
