When I was a child, Mr. Waite consistently grew tomatoes and shared them with our family. Visiting his house to grab some of those tomatoes he offered up to us is a core memory I have of him. Additionally, Mr. Waite would kindly care for our cat when we went on vacation, demonstrating his trustworthiness and reliability, qualities that set him apart from others. He was always a person who never complained, even mowing his lawn just a week before he passed away. I hope that he is now resting peacefully.

So sad for the loss of your father.
    Your Dad has always expressed kindness. I saw him with a gentle heart.
    As your neighbor and friend, I must admit, I never heard your father raise his voice.
     Contentious, your father took beautiful care of his yard. 
     I think of you often.
