Alda R Gibson

The third of seven children, Alda was born March 28, 1936 to Dee Hatch and William Richins. She married the love of her life, Johnny Gibson on November 27, 1959 in Elko, NV. They moved to West Valley City, UT where they spent the next 56 years together.

She loved camping, fishing, crossword puzzles and listening to Patsy Cline. Most of all she loved being a grandmother. She looked forward to the many family game nights, BBQ’s and horseshoe tournaments.

Alda is survived by her husband Johnny, son; Gene (Linda) Gibson, daughter; Joni (Bart) Giles, daughter in law; Konnie Gibson, one brother, three sisters, 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her son; William, brother; Neil (Sharla), sister; Ethel (Roger) and her parents.
