May 7, 1940 – September 25, 2019
Our beloved father Alfred “Fred” Deiley, 79, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home in the comfort of his granddaughter, Kendra who cared for him up until his passing on September 25, 2019.
Dad was born in Youngstown, Ohio on May 7, 1940 to Walter and Anita Deiley. He married the love of his life Joyce Sorensen Deiley on October 9, 1978 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They enjoyed getting dressed up and going on date nights as well as teasing each other back and forth.
He was a skilled machinist and owned his own business, “Dearden Enterprises,” where he coached and mentored his professional staff. He later went on to be a shift foreman at Atwood and worked there until retirement.
Fred enjoyed spending time and throwing the ball with his cat Princess. He also loved gardening, spending time with his children, grandchildren, boating, and family trips to Lake Powell.
He will be dearly missed by his children, Tina Garrett, Lisa Deiley (Ryan), Marilyn Warren, and Carolyn (Dave) Curtis, along with 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and his beloved cat Princess. Fred is preceded in death by his parents, wife, and son-in-laws (Roger Warren and Mike Garrett).

Back in the 60's, in Kearns we were so lucky to have Fred as our neighbor. Before his accident, almost losing his leg,and after recovery, he would come over to our house and visit. You knew when you saw that beautiful red hair and smile he was going to make your day better. He would come over and spend time with my older sister Carole and I, sharing funny stories laughing, and just being silly. He was our best friend and neighbor, and gave us fond memories of our home in Kearns. We are so sorry for your loss, and know his beautiful smile and laughter will be greatly missed.
